In early 2023, Nanocycle Tech was honored to be a recipient of the Advance-ON Program that was designed specifically to support early-stage Cleantech companies developing sustainable chemical and advanced materials technologies.
The program was sponsored by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), and was executed by the Green Centre Canada in Kingston, Ontario.
Through the Advance-ON Program, our proprietary process was validated successfully in a bench-scale (5-6 kilos) operation in Green Center Canada by the experts in the field.
Pulp was successfully recovered from the used coffee cups, and the achievement of the promising results paved the way towards a full commercialization of the technology in Kingston, Ontario.
